Thought is was about time we had a thread devoted to humble abodes. Doesn't matter if its a cabin, shed, or air raid shelter. Lets see some inspirational man caves, bolt holes and hideouts. :)

I'll be watching this thread keenly for ideas. Building a funky man shed in my back garden will soon be a pet project.

I'll try and find the pics of a tiny cabin on a rock in a river, it's somewhere Eastern Europe, crazy build.

Meanwhile, here's a link to so many pics it'll bugger my Photobucket.

    And the ubiquitous, Hobbit house.

A few of us have spent a couple of relaxing days "camping" in my mates field. Not sure if this qualifies as a cabin, or a bushcraft shelter. It did work well though and saved the aggro of having to put up my tent. :)

I know mate, just crap timing. Suprised Lee actually made it across!

Hopefully he'll sort out a meet for Halloween weekend so I can make it for once. Been a while since I've got out for a trip.

That is merely a sign indicating the "facilities" are that way and once passed through the gap in the hedge, one finds a secluded glade and a thunder-box. :)

It was a weekend camp. Beer was measured in quantity rather than quality. :D :D

It's a perfect natural target. I'd be walking around camp all the time looking for acorns, wee stones and the like to ping it with my Black Widow.

A new camping scale springs to mind.

Glamping, camping, rustic roughing it and Andylaser Adequate.

Bit posh with your fancy pool cues and bespoke bedside beer cabinet mind you! :P

Is that a deadfall trap for Chavs?? Maybe replace the sleeping bag with a Kappa shell suit top and sprinkle a few cigarettes around.

Nice. That top one I've seen before from the cabin porn site. I think I must get a copy of the book.
