Screw Xmas - I hate it!
Except for the food and booze - and then I have to diet afterwards to avoid severe joint pain!
    Overall - screw Xmas!

    Yeah - I guess....
But then the thread title sums it up....
I am currently outside a bottle of red, a large scotch and the best Xmas dinner my wife has ever cooked, listening to a Fairport CD Xmas prezzie and feeling more mellow (not watched any Xmas TV yet....)
Perhaps it is only the Xploitation of Xmas that I detest....
:) Merry Xmas to all who like it :)

If she was a virgin when the bearded sprog fell out, that means Joe probably still is.

Christmas Shit? Shit! It's Christmas. No decorations. The lights are still up in a row of grape vines from last year. Click!
Christmas eve TV was a couple of Star Wars movies. Jeez! 20+ years old now. Some whiskey cream & cinnamon.

Little bird to roast, stuffing made. Leftover perogies, green jello salad and lazy cabbage roll casserole.
Sunny, dry and -10C. Avalanche risk is really bad with a weak layer 60-100 cm down.
Not a day to ride stupid.

I don't hate anything. I've outgrown that. Just let everybody wee in their own pants.

I’m expecting something akin to a birth tomorrow mate. I’m not a huge eater, but bloody hell I’ve done the lot for two days. Not a thing have I turned down, Brie, chocolate, beef brisket, gammon, turkey, sausage, gingerbreads, rye loaf, cheddars, onions, pickles, nuts, dips, crisps, dark beer and red wine.

A WhatsApp at 6.45am from a brother in law who’d been woken by his children attempted to start my day and failed completely. I got up, let both dogs out for a pee, had a pee myself and a cup of tea, and rolled back into bed with a warm tummy and two contented terriers until 10.00. Perfect late start to a Christmas Day. :) Not once did I think ‘Ooh, let’s go stalk deer’. :D

I did go out, saw no deer, felt shit, came home to a good breakfast, booze and a pretty good day in the end.

Well, the festive season is officially over after I completed the last of the family Christmas traditions this morning. Went round to my sister's place and turned her tree into matchsticks with my trusty Fallkniven S1. The needles go in the garden waste bin, and everything else gets stored in the shed awaiting some dry weather to get the firebox going. Since it's Scotland we're talking about, that may take some time.[IMG]
