I'm in a good mood tonight for some unknown reason so I thought I'd fire up the first competition on the forum. Open to all and I suppose you can have as many guesses as you like. Could be fun! We'll see!! Anyway, the prize is a block of Ghost Jade G10. Not the easiest to come across in this size. 22mm thick and easily big enough to handle a stick tang or split for fixed blade scales.

If no-one gets it then i'll ask my missus to pick a number between 1 and however many members are on the forum and you'll be given your alphabetical members number.

The question:- What did I have for dinner last night?

    Good luck!

    Darren.

Many thanks for the official cherry-popping ROF competition, Darren. I could put a nice piece of Ghost Jade to good use.

    A curry.

No problem! In fact, im in such a good mood I'll make it two jade blocks and a few interesting stainless and brass pins.

Im going to let this run till next wednesday even if the correct answer is found straight away.

I just fancy cheese on toast for supper now! Melted till the cheese is nearly burned to give the full flavour then sprinkled with black pepper. Yummy!

    Some good answers coming up.

Here's the prize folks. The longer piece on it's side to show the thickness is 148mm x 39mm. Both are 22mm thick as I said. Mora for scale only!

The pins are 5mm stainless core with a snug 6mm brass tube around them. Fairly unusual but a nice touch in my opinion. As in this pic.
