Scorchio for late September here. The temperature peaked at about 25/26 degrees C today. Light breeze. A little bit hazy in the distance.

A fine day to be outdoors in the Baie des Anges. The winters are long around here. It pays to enjoy the last of the summer sun, which is exactly what I'll be doing tomorrow if it holds.

And good to see the kids all out in the bay and refining their sailing skills.

All in all a very pleasant change from this sort of muck which spannered up a large part of the tourism industry here this summer:

Glorious sunshine in Edinburgh today. I was outside in the full glare. One of the Rangers took pity on me and brought me out Factor 50, bless her :D
I'm still a bit sunburnt, but it could have been an awful lot worse.
All in all, it's been a lovely end to the Summer :D

Been lovely down Bridge of Orchy way!
Bit claggy up in the hills at times but dry with sunny spells :)
Another couple munros chalked off too, that's 18 and 19 this year!
Hopefully manage to get another 7/8 in before the weather gets too bad!

I always really enjoyed the Tyndrum/Bridge of Orchy part of the West Highland Way. A fine part of the country.

I've had mine for a fortnight now ever since I came back from Germany. I only felt rotten for a day or two, but I haven't been able to shift the damn thing and it's wearing to be running at 80% odd for 2 weeks. I've been eating well, drinking loads of water, doing plenty of exercise and taking multivits and all that. Still no joy. So I'll join you for voddy o'clock, plenty of it and hope it works! :)

Do what Trixx is doing tonight, and get a curry, and sweat it out of you that way.

It's sodden wet. There are two badgers grazing under the bird feeder on my front lawn right now. They look utterly drookit. It's got to be the clearest evidence I have yet seen that a wet night is best spent indoors with a fire on, a mug of something hot, and peaceful company :D

Four seasons in one day today. I got absolutely pissed on at lunchtime (stayed relatively dry thanks to Mr. Paramo). Howling winds an hour later, then got dazzled by the low sun on the way home. By the time I arrived at the house the heavens had opened again.

Gorgeous sunny morning here in Chester with a clear blue sky.

I'm going to take the morning off, take the dog for a long walk :hike: and scare a few squirrels.

When it's clement weather at this time of the year you've got to get out there and make the most of it 'cos it ain't gonna last!

Quite sunny in S.E. Wales, ideal weather for letting the dog take me for a walk in half an hour or so.
