Wonder if the DB is Dave Barker? He was quite prolific with scandis and sheaths.

That was my thought too. The date would be about right as well.

Good thought, Andy. I had forgotten him, sad to say.

This is where we miss the BB resource. :sad03:

Whatever happened to him? I seem to recall that life got in the way.

True enough about BB, I keep wanting to refer back to it for various reasons, none less than trying to sell an Olight (Sun in your hand torch)to people that think a UCO candle lantern is the height of lumen luxury when all mine did was piss hot wax everywhere and gum itself up.

No idea about the knife, Dave Barker rings a distant bell.

The blade is one of Tacol's - I'm struggling to remember his real name at the moment - Stephan A?????? (Will rack the grey cells some more)

The sheath is Dave Barker, as is likely the handle.

Dave uses a running wolf as his mark......well, I think it's a running wolf, it's something dog like going full out.

    Many thanks, Stew.

The original handle fell to bits. I put the existing one on.

Thanks, one and all, for getting the memory cells working.

I have managed to confirm that the maker was Dave Barker, with a Tacol blade.
