I can't believe I've just spent five minutes of my life reading up about this razor when I regard shaving as the male equivalent of dealing with menstruation. Worse still, I find myself thinking my Merkur is somehow inadequate to the task..... :banghead:

A couple of days before Christmas I scored a jacket off eBay:

And not being able to find my (passable at best) 18650 charger I have ordered another, due any day now.

And even while Christmas shopping I bought myself a load of obscure but delicious crisps from B&M and Home Bargains. Golden Wonder cheese and onion, Branigan's, Seabrooks Pickled onion, what a treat!

I don't really want to go there but I've now got four of the buggers as well as four 18650 batteries and lost the ****ing torch so "had" to blow £70+ on a new one to justify the rest of the shite. :banghead:

It was this forum's expert on vaping devices and national covert rep for Olight that got me into this in the first place. I was happy with the upgrade from candle to Maglite until then (or was it from Maglite to candle?).

Edited to say that I've since found the "lost" torch as well. :banghead:

I have one of their Start kits, best razor I’ve ever used, very smooth shave and results. I’m looking at selling more of my collection!!!

Planning Ukraine trip this spring, so travel books on that. Nothing else for myself so far, just haven't spotted anything I want.

Though I quite fancy making up some winter survival kits for the car/van I have a lot of bits but nothing in a kit as it were.
    That might make another thread.

Pondering about buying a Lansky sharpening thingy to sharpen the knives I don't particularly use much. It doesn't help that I have a habit of cutting myself without having to even think about it.

Also looking at a handheld Garmin justified by my desire to run some decent routes in the Scottish highlands.

I have a get home bag in the car, but in truth £20 to buy beer and a phone would do the trick where I live, as would just walking and keeping the sea on my left (or right), but I have always had nothing but admiration for a mate of mine in North Yorkshire back in the day who ran an ageing and notoriously unreliable escort van and whose winter survival kit was a party seven and a sleeping bag.

Scottish Highlands and I can be anywhere at any time with work. I've come close to being stuck on the way back from Ullapool a couple of times over the years. In more recent times I've avoided going if I think the weather is iffy and that's probably the best thing but you can't always know what the weather is going to do here.

Anyway I started a separate thread for it.

I spent about 700 on Mammut kit this year and just to finish got a Mammut scarf with the works Christmas gift card.
Note to self......you have more than enough good kit leave the web site's alone!

Would that be the Modular 30?
    Inner velcro pouches?
When do we get a review?

Good for you fella, I’m enjoying mine, getting into the space for films and music without distractions.

Apart from the iPad upgrade and the Douglass lighters, I’ve been quite good. I did order another of the Emisar torches. I think you’d like them Kev, this one runs on some slightly bigger batteries, but I’ll be able to help you out. :D

I have to say it’s a good job Toby the jacket seller on BCUK is XL size or I’d have been on to a Barbour.
